The business offers a variety of wedding stationery accessories such as invitations, table place names, table numbers, table plans, favour boxes, thankyou cards to name but a few and the company has a variety of themes which are designed to suit any budget. Polka Dot Creations can also come up with a bespoke design if a client is looking for something that little bit different and by talking through your ideas, combined with the companys experience, a design can be created working together.
Working in her studio from home, the business is owned and managed by Nicky Fish who lives near Ascot in Berkshire with her husband and two young daughters. Nicky decided to set up Polka Dot Creations as she has had a passion for stationery for some years and friends and family had requested that she create some place names for them to replicate those made for her own wedding some years ago. Nicky worked in the translation and desk top publishing industry for many years as a proofreader so she is fully aware of the importance of accuracy in print and her proofreading skills come into play when printing and checking wedding invitation inserts.
